Hull FC winger Tom Briscoe has announced he will retire from playing at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old former England international started his career with the Black and Whites in 2008 and has scored 232 tries in 471 appearances to date.
He joined Leeds Rhinos for the 2014 season and won two Grand Finals and three Challenge Cups during his eight years there, before winning another Challenge Cup with Leigh Leopards in 2023.
Briscoe returned to Hull in April 2024 and has scored 17 tries in 64 games in his second stint.
He said it "felt like the stars have aligned a little bit" that his final career appearance will be against Leeds at Headingley.
"It's been an amazing journey – the highest of highs that you can achieve in this sport, and some tough moments along the way too," he told the club website., external
"I'm incredibly proud of what I have achieved, and I'm privileged to have been in the position I've been in in this sport for so long."
