WhereWeChat Online Services Refund Policy

This Refund Policy covers the procedures for processing refunds on WhereWeChat, including payments made via the WWC eWallet for marketplace transactions, and outlines non-refundable services such as advertisements and memberships.

1. Non-Refundable Payments

  • Advertisement Fees: Payments for advertisements on WhereWeChat are non-refundable, regardless of whether the ad is removed due to policy violations.

  • Membership Fees: All membership fees are non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued for canceled memberships once payment has been processed.

2. Marketplace Transactions & WWC eWallet Payments

For purchases made using the WWC eWallet in the WhereWeChat marketplace, the following rules apply:

  • Customer Confirmation for Vendor Payment: After a product is delivered, customers have 7 days to confirm receipt of the product. WhereWeChat will contact the customer via phone or email to verify that the product has been received and that they are satisfied with their purchase.

  • Refund if Product Not Received: If the customer confirms that they did not receive the product, WhereWeChat will initiate a refund of the full amount paid by the customer. This refund will be processed to their WWC eWallet balance within 7-10 business days following confirmation of the issue.

  • Automatic Vendor Payment: If the customer does not respond or confirm receipt within 7 days, the system will automatically credit the vendor, assuming that the product was delivered successfully.

3. Payments Made Outside of WWC

  • Limited Control for External Payments: If a customer pays for products through a method outside of WhereWeChat (i.e., directly to the vendor without using the WWC eWallet), WhereWeChat has no control over the transaction and cannot offer a refund for such payments.

  • Customers are advised to carefully review the seller's refund policies before making payments outside of the WhereWeChat system, as these transactions fall under the seller’s sole responsibility.

4. Steps for Marketplace Refunds

Where applicable, the following steps outline the refund process for marketplace transactions:

  • Step 1: Submit a Complaint: Contact WhereWeChat support within 7 days of delivery if the product was not received or delivered as expected. Provide all relevant details and evidence (e.g., photos, order details).

  • Step 2: Return Authorization: After the complaint is validated, you will receive instructions for returning the product (where applicable). The product must be returned in its original condition with all packaging.

  • Step 3: Track Return: You will be provided with tracking information for your return. Once the return is verified, the refund will be processed.

  • Step 4: Refund Processing: For eWallet transactions, refunds will be credited to your WWC eWallet balance within 7-10 business days after the return is confirmed.

5. Items Not Eligible for Returns

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Products that have been used or altered.

  • Opened or used items, unless proven defective.

  • Perishable goods, beauty products, underwear, or intimate items.

Refunds will not be processed if a return request is submitted after the 7-day window.

6. Final Provisions

WhereWeChat reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Updates will be communicated through the platform, and continued use of WhereWeChat services will indicate acceptance of the revised policy.
