I’d been putting off changing jobs because every time I opened a job site, I ended up with a pile of vacancies that didn’t make sense for me. I was looking for work in gambling and needed something where Russian and English were actually useful, plus I wasn’t planning to relocate. A friend mentioned SpinHire, so I checked it out one evening. I set the country and language filters and finally got a list I could work with instead of scrolling through random stuff for hours.

One thing that helped was that I was also checking an iGaming market overview at the time, trying to understand which roles were actually in demand. While browsing SpinHire, I found a vacancy pretty close to what I’d already been doing, so I sent my CV. The recruiter wrote back a few days later, we had a short call and then an interview with the team. Nothing weird or overly complicated, just talked through my experience, salary and schedule. I ended up taking the offer. So yeah, SpinHire didn’t magically find me a job, but it did save me a lot of pointless searching.
